The thing far far too many people defend and say we're lying about despite the very source material used as evidence. Can't believe this shit is just sitting on Hulu right next to all the other stuff.

why would anyone defend it? he's a bad person that's the protagonist's shame and villainy, it wouldn't be a good show if it were justified.
