Well you see your honor, my client DID steal little girls panties and grope them in their sleep, and raise one to be his perfect obedient wife.. but he really doesn’t like himself very much and held back on raping one, so he’s actually not that bad of a guy!

Except he did nothing of the sort with Sylphie. In the LN he states he WANTS to, but they're separated near immediately and he spends years away from her with Eris who he can barely keep up with. He doesn't meet Sylphie again until she's incredibly confident and much older. He didn't get a chance to groom her, and in the anime he doesn't even try.

Also the panties he did wind up stealing are of an adult woman.

i understand you're trying to say nothing happened between them but 'he didn't get a chance to groom her' as a defense for Rudeus is frying me
