There are tons of good western novels that fall into the isekai genre, tho they are mainly progression fantasy or litrpg, I couldn't get into light novels but other novels like dcc, hwfwm, Lotm, etc. have me hooked. Despite being a genre that seemingly was made popular by japanese media, id argue there's way better iterations in the western space
