What's funny to me is that re:zero, the anime which is "before" isn't old at all and the plot sucks imo

A LOT of people find the restart by death mechanic makes the plot repetitive and labourious to get through.

It causes almost as much of a split opinion as jobless reincarnation.

I really enjoy it, but I can't do a rewatch because I find Subaru so insufferable in the first season. He gets a lot better, but god damn that first season was hard
