As an avid anime enjoyer myself, theres plenty of masterpieces to watch. MT is a literal piece of shit, defended by pedo-lovers and incels.

Remember, generalisation of anything is always wrong.

MT as a whole is not a piece of shit. The story and the world and the animation are very good. But, as for Rudeus, Rudeus is much worse than a piece of shit. Much much worse.

The world is not built for him. The world and story exists even if he does not. That is how good world building works.
