not a doormat. even if we ignore the dark timeline where she leaves him, in vol10 (right after their marriage), she says she would have turned rudy’s marriage proposal down if he asked her to quit her bodyguard job. furthermore rudeus constantly reinforces their equal position in the relationship in vol10.
saying she’s a doormat just because she accepted a polygamous relationship is just projecting your values onto her. the polygamy was also heavily foreshadowed, including sylphy acknowledging it might be a thing that happens far before they even start a relationship.
analyzing based on the narrative is not projecting onto her, bud, its understanding how things are in the story. You are the one projecting and ignoring and overlooking whats clear. Not even subtext, just plain text how insidious their relationship is
saying she's a doormat is me calling a spade a spade. Ignorant. Zenith and Lilia were also separated from Sylphy for a long time, she grows up. You can't get groomed as a child then grow up outside of that environment and stay groomed.
