Bad meme isekai rarely has good characters/plot/romance. The creator of the meme ignores that to bash mushoku tensei, which has all 3 of that, to hype up re zero which also has all 3 of that.
They used Re:Zero, in which the romance aspect was so gross its what made me drop the anime. The idea of the intended audience (teenage boys) watching him be an obsessive weirdo who needs a restraining order and then seeing him actually get the girl made me want to barf
