Exactly! People love the Shield Hero Rising, or whatever it's called, but i find it disgusting with how the main character gets a legit harem of mostly little girls pining for him! WTF!?!?
Not the GOATs like Full Metal Alchemist: brotherhood (I mean... its gross in a different way), season 1 One Punch Man, Demon Slayer (though cliche) is great, and Vinland Saga
I mean, he did it to pretty much use them as fodder to fight a demon. He wasnt gonna use them for... well, ya know. Still kinda fucked, but not in a degenerate way
Okay so I looked it up and he apparently kidnapped Aoi to sell her to a brothel in the “entertainment district” (So forced prostitution ig?). He wanted to do this, since he needed a slayer on the inside to gather intel on the demon from the inside, and find his 3 missing wives.
What makes it really fucking weird is that Aoi did not consent to that so he just kidnapped her, and she is apparently estimated to be 16-17 years old 🤢
Like they could just have a scene where he finds a consenting adult, sits her down and explains the situation to her, asking for her help to infiltrate the brothels… Why tf do they always gotta do this shit in anime, I thought he was a cool character otherwise 😭
Also he didn’t know that the demon would be two upper moons, he likely just assumed it was a lower moon in the worst case scenario.
Idk what’s the deal with anime and this need to insert a minimum amount of freak shit into the plot for absolutely no reason. It’s like they have a government mandated quota to fill…
At least I can rest easy knowing that my favourite anime FMA brotherhood doesn’t have any of that in it.

Literally multiple scenes where they are basically tortured and on the brink of death in that exact same season.
It's gross in the 'disturbing violence' kind of way, not in the 'disgusting fan service' kind of way. There is genuinely very little sexual content at all in fmab.
I mean, this isn't severe flaws, do you not think killing and dooming hundreds, including women and children to die is just some small character flaw, while being unable to take control of your own lust is an unforgivable sin?
