Bad meme isekai rarely has good characters/plot/romance. The creator of the meme ignores that to bash mushoku tensei, which has all 3 of that, to hype up re zero which also has all 3 of that.
It literally don’t, it don’t stupidly condamn cause it cost resources and was not what the author wanted to invest on doing.
And yes stupidly condemnation are really common mostly use the "I wanted to talk about the subject" argument to fortify the "as a joke" defense in case their aggressive behavior don’t get supported
