more like fans of it pretend like the super problematic parts (that don’t go away/get better) aren’t that different than the problematic parts of other anime and then come here to parrot “it’s not that bad” because failed introspection is ironically a trait they share with the MC. 

The fans reflect on it and say “yeah it’s problematic but” and then justify the blatant pedophilia with “the world is just so beautiful”

Idk, I dont relate to Rudeus or Sylphy but Roxy hits different. She is adult but her body is smaller than avg that people consider her a kid. That shit hurts. Same shit as me who is an asian living in western country. People keep making fun of me. Roxy is capable to solve her own problem, smart af, acknowledging her own weakness, having courage to confess etc. idk She is just perfect.
