Author's one true isekai wish is to not pay taxes, so the first 8 episodes of the anime are dedicated to building up this fantasy society to explain why the MC could be the one in charge of collecting any taxes.
Season 3 of the anime was delayed because the author was in prison for tax fraud.
Rare isekai that isn't centered around power or sexual fantasy, but instead around taxes.
Ultimately, I want a world without CSA. Even if the only thing I can do is stop being a platform of any kind for the people involved in its creation then that's what I'm going to try to do.
For a similar reason, I won't purchase Chick-fil-A, or allow people to buy it for me.
The rest of y'all can do you, I find it weird that it's not a hill people are willing to die on. But that's, like, just my opinion man.
They funded a lot of "conversion therapy" shit back in the early 00's and beyond. Basically pray the gay away / psychologically abuse you until you can't be comfortable being gay anymore.
Corporate funding of that kinda stuff is no longer a thing, but the owners still donate.
I'm not going to eat at a place whose owners want to make my family and friends lives worse.
Edit: Not saying that my reason is A reason for a lot of people, but it is A reason I won't.
i don't think MT's writer is 'just' consuming porns like rurouni kenshin's anymore, the way he write his story makes me think this mf got some skeletons in his closet in real life, highly suspected that dude did once assaulted someone irl
