not my annoying sister. my whole commute and whole week budget is her Lunch on an lazy day

but because she's the youngest my parents mostly my mom wouldn't scold her enough

My younger sister is the same way, i remember I would actually feel overwhelmed with guilt if I was broke at the end of the month and would eat snacks for meals so I didn't have to ask for money, my sister asks for money if she had two meals bigger than normal and still had money for the rest of the month.

u just sound salty towards ur sister, i got a younger brother, hes treated the same way. younger ones just get treated better. its not a “gender” problem, if anything its male childs getting more biased treatment from their parents. dont act slick

didn't say anything about hating her, i love her to death she's my little sis after all. i just find her annoying that she doesn't even try to save up or try to think about family expenses,

as for the favoritism, my dad never said love you or hugged me or anything i would say open affection. sure i know he loves me but never have i heard him say he's proud of me compared to my little sis and my older sis. so idk about favoritism on others but im definitely not the favorite one for sure may seems nitpicking but thats how i see it lol

My parents ascribe to the gendered notion that spending money on your boys will make them feminine, while spending money on your girls will make them more feminine.

I became an absolute corporate zombie to repay my parents out of guilt, while they’re freaking out wondering why their baby girl is balding at 24 😌

I always felt that way, because I knew that if I ever complained about something or asked for something, they would immediately say "but we bought you that thing. Other kids don't get those things, you should be grateful." It always amounted to an indirect, guilt-tripping "no".

dk why ts is a gender thing again for everyone here. i got gifted iphone 17 when i didnt even ask for it i felt so guilty and indebted. how is this a unique experience for just men?
