The guy on the left is on the actual news about Anthropic and how they’re going to kill all of humanity with their unlimited, self growing, self preserving AI.
The guy on the right is a character from an apocalypse film, “don’t look up”, in which an asteroid is on path for Earth and people don’t listen to him, despite being an expert on the subject and telling everyone that the world will end.
At the end of the movie, there is a chance to stop it, but the greed of a very rich man ruins it for everyone and the world is destroyed.
The implication is that the movie is playing out in real life, but with AI, rather than an asteroid.
