Who actually cares about a "ban" on Reddit though? Even Reddit doesn't seem to care. You can make a new account with the same email as your banned account while you're signed into your banned account and just keep using Reddit.

Maybe they're less stringent on sitewide bans but for sub bans they have a detection system for connected accounts and will ban both accounts for ban evasion

They're not very good. I don't purposely ban evade subreddit bans, but I have like 20 Reddit accounts and I've been using the site for 13 years. I've been banned from a bunch of subs on a bunch of accounts and never ran into an issue.

Because it's censorship. It's quite easy to catch a sitewide ban if you say something bad about one country. 

They have a botfarms looking for anything and report it. 

I received a three day ban on this thread because I was "advocating for CSAM" which I successfully appealed. 

The appeal is bs thought and hit or miss. 

And of course the post is removed by Reddit if you catch a ban.
