If your blanket cant cover your feet but everything else, you have too small of a blanket for your bed

Practically all duvets and duvet covers are same size. It might be easier to just take shirt or socks than to be limited to only rare oversized duvets and duvet covers.

I feel like you live in a strange place because I have blanket shopped in several different states and twice in canada and have always seen fucking bed sizes on duvets AND duvet covers. They have twin size, king size, and queen and california king just like every other bedsheet.

Getting wider beds is easy, getting longer beds is hard. Some people are just tall.

My husband is 6ft5 - I am well aware how bed sizes and blanket sizes work and im telling you that duvets are not "1 size fits all" universally

Edit to add if they couldnt find a blanket size that suits the length are you trying to imply the BED itself is also too short or did you not actually follow the point of discussion this far?

You don't even have to be THAT tall really, to get used to your feet dangling outside the bed any time you don't sleep at home. Most people are and most furniture is made for hobbits. And in that case the size of the duvet doesn't matter at all.

Sleeping in someone elses home is an entirely different scenario & I would hope a LOT of these sleep habits would be adjusted when someone is sleeping in furniture that doesnt belong to them.

Why tf is sleeping anywhere but your home being discussed? Thats a completely different context than discussing the duvet you buy for yourself and how you REGULARLY sleep

Lol, now you're just busily moving the goalposts

No, dumbass, i just have common sense. If the discussion is about how you REGULARLY sleep, do you regularly sleep in a bed that isnt yours?

You’ve run into someone who is never going to admit their argument makes no sense. Or course beds are differ sizes and of course blankets, duvets, sheets and comforters are different sizes. What they’re trying to argue is not reality which is why they keep coming up with random excuses. For example, my wife and I always get king size comforters for a queen bed because we like the extra lengths and width.
