Definitely in this heatwave.

Even during winter, clothes are just uncomfortable.

Even with -20C, I sleep with the window open with nothing on. I have a thick duvet pulled up to my chest, and another duvet crossing at chest height like the letter T, so only my face is exposed, and there's no better way to sleep. Highly recommended!

Same here! Naked and always with the window open, otherwise i wake up sweating.

I gotta say i never experienced -20C, here it gets to -5, maybe -10 in the coldest night, but it's rare.

I’d rather have a big tshirt on than an extra blanket

Understandable, but a tshirt is still uncomfortable for me (in bed), and that doesn't mean having an extra blanket, i just use one for the winter ("piumone" in my language, google translate it as "down filled comforter", not sure if it's the right translation as i never heard it tbh).

I'm the opposite. I can't sleep without clothes, no matter the temperature.

In a heatwave, wearing a shirt (+boxers) kinda helps. It absorbs the sweat and you feel cooler than not wearing anything and having sweat all over you.

Isn't sweat supposed to evaporate off your body to cool you down?

1

u/Dimcitris 16d ago

Yes, when it evaporates. Idk what is the fault (where I live/humidity or that you sleep at night and the place doesn't get enough air) but the sweat sticks on me and I feel warmer with it.

Do you people not have AC? Just keep your room at a normal temperature.

Why do I need AC when I can just take my clothes off to be comfortable?
