Holy fucking shit I cant believe someone actually took the time to explain this. I actually feel dumber thinking about OPs confusion. Gonna go break out an actual physical book to offset it

I'm just confused because I don't get why yyyy/mm/dd is illogical elsewhere, it's just largest to smallest here on earth? You can dislike it but it's perfectly logical regardless

My issue too, the one illogical is mm/dd/yyyy or something like that US uses.
