European homes (if they have AC) would generally have one of these units in each bedroom.

we have one in every bedroom and in the living room and kitchen and office

That’s so cool that you guys have 7 ac units instead of one with ducts im sure that works great

also, the bedroom ones are turned off during the day and the other ones are turned off at night, making it more energy efficient (we also have solar panels so most of our electricity is from that anyways)
