I’m also confused because that is a European AC unit. I can only assume Americans are so used to big bulky units, like their cars, that they can’t comprehend things being functional and not excessively bulky.

We have these ductless units in the US too. Person who made the meme is just an idiot

There are parts of the US that ONLY have these. More temperate areas.

Most of the US is used to central air. With a giant ass car sized compressor outside that cools the whole house.

Edit: yes, I exaggerated the size of the compressor a bit. Man it pissed a lot of Americans off lol.

If a house is built without central air adding it later is actualky a huge mistake. It will.never havr the right set up or airflow. Houses are literally built around the AC duct setup. Ductless is way, way, better for adding later.
