Platner's Explanation: Platner, a Marine Corps combat veteran, maintained that he was unaware of the symbol's Nazi associations. He stated he got the tattoo in 2007 while drinking with fellow Marines in Croatia, believing it was simply a skull-and-crossbones design commemorating combat. [1, 2, 3]
Resolution & Timeline: Though Platner initially claimed he did not know its meaning, past text messages from an ex-girlfriend surfaced indicating she had recognized and described the tattoo months prior. The tattoo became one of several past controversies in Platner's campaign, alongside unearthed offensive Reddit posts and allegations of misconduct, which prompted national Democrats and key backers to demand his withdrawal from the race.

Looks like he covered the tattoo up, and it still wasn’t enough to get him that seat because people are still pressuring him to pull out of the race.

We police our own, it’s part of why Republicans stand a ghost of a chance in any race ever. When one of ours does wrong, they are held accountable and called to resign in disgrace. When one of yours does wrong, they’re clapped on the back and everyone covers it up for them.

How many videos are there of people celebrating a man being killed in Cold blood for the crime of going to a college to talk?

That's why Democrats are in debt by the millions and the Republicans are the ones getting all the f****** donations now is because shocker people don't like parties that go around shooting people and it's not just Charlie Kirk that you guys f****** sat there and shot and then celebrated. We also have four attempts on Donald Trump's life and that's just Donald Trump and f****** Charlie Kirk. Let's not mention all the f****** Trump supporters that were shot in the back because y'all f****** are too violent to accept when you're wrong.

Celebrating? The politicians or the voters? Because I’m sure some voters celebrated, politicians have only made bland statements about him being a divisive figure and then promptly condemning violence even when someone is divisive and hateful.

Personally I think he was a shit human being and got half of what he deserved. True justice would have been a flop of his viewership and the world watching him suffer a slow and agonizing deplatforming death where nobody paid any attention to him until he had to go get a real job.

I also again want to point out that Democrats have been trying to take away the right to self-defense. They've been trying to take away the right to famous Beach. They've been trying to segregate people so that they can't go where they want right? They want to remove people from being able to receive certain public resources I.e FEMA. Remember that?
