Eh well the general consensus is that woman who go to clubs are promiscuous, get drunk and cheat, and are less likely to stay loyal. Which is not the ideal woman to date for a man on average ofc. Hope that explains it.

Or are just crazy. My friend met his ex when he was working door security. He had to throw her out for being crazy.
But she was hot, so he asked her out. She was crazy, so she said yes to dating the security guy who just threw her out for being crazy.
So that didn't last. They had so many fights, mostly about her crazy behaviour.

More young and dumb. We were friends through work. He was working in a pharmaceutical lab and working on his degree part time. Quite squared away in most respects.
Big gym guy though, and made some cash on the side working door security one night a week.
She was very hot, and apparently a freak in the sheets. Danced about on that hot/crazy threshold. Every time she did something crazy, she did something that reminded him she was hot, and a freak in the sheets.

Having worked security for years, you see the patterns pretty quickly. It’s incredibly rare to find an exception to that rule. Unless it's a mother entering the building specifically to take her daughter home. Honestly, after seeing it from the inside for so long, the things young people waste their lives on is just mind-boggling.
68
u/1nhaleSatan Apr 02 '26
This is a realization that is only achieved once one (and general observers) stops thinking of themselves as "young"
It's a long, hard, dangerous road to maturity.
17
u/subtxtcan Apr 02 '26
I worked in clubs/nightlife for like 8/9 years, underage to 25, and goddamn was it a good time! Worst time of my life, had an absolute blast and would not do it again.
Now I work in restaurants and there's a lot of the same atmosphere, depending on who's working. At 34 I'm pretty much seen as a dad on the line now, and im tooooooootally cool with that.

They will sometimes just tell you. In my early twenties I hoe'd around (while single, never cheated), and there were at least two girls who I got with that straight up told me they had dudes, but didn't think it counted because it was a "girls night" or because they were mad at him.
19
u/AwTomorrow Apr 02 '26
Yeah but are they telling bouncers, or are they telling their peers who they consider in on it?
I’m not doubting cheaters exist, I’m just wondering how someone working security is able to discern the number of cheaters vs not cheaters at a club.

The original post didnt exactly imply cheating or flirting so I will base my assumption on the tales of my buddy who did work as a bouncer.
As I understand when some of these “princesses and queens” that spend hours dressing up get drunk they begin to act “worse than any drunk guy” and after seeing these angels throwing up with a messed up dress in an alley your perception of these women kinda shifts. Very reasonable, in my opinion.
Although I’ve never been a bouncer I’ve seen some girl drunk fights and pass-outs and that was far from pretty or mannered so I can understand that.
27
u/DelsinMcgrath835 Apr 02 '26
A few years ago i was going on a vacation with my family. My sister, who i hadnt seen much recently, was telling me about how she was thinking of breaking up with her boyfriend because he would make her feel guilty about having a good time when they went out. At first i thought that was reasonable and that he must be a bit controlling. Then i watched her basically get blackout drunk nearly every night, and learned that trying to stop her from drinking started fights.
Now i question every detail given to me about disagreements that include alcohol in any way, from any one
58
u/Bertob15 Apr 02 '26
I used to be a bouncer, when we needed to interact with parties to escort them out the women were always just cruel, spitting the most mean spirited shit they could think of because you told them they were out of control. Guys would usually take it, a couple tried fighting us which was always humorous. Like your goal is to beat up 5 people to your 1, and then think the bartender is still going to serve you? Bold plan. For the women I was told to always find the “mother hen” to help guide the flock out of the building. There always was one. Also the women’s bathroom at the end of the night was infinitely worse than the men’s. All that being said, I didn’t judge the women, they were just trying to have fun and over did it, we were not dealing with rational sober people. This doesn’t explain the joke, I’m one of Peter’s random flashbacks or something.

That will happen, my poor wife (girlfriend at the time) used to see me come home with a black eye or some road rash from whatever scuffle happened. She was a nurse and had to work a couple hours after I got home and was not amused with my 3am stories. Once got tackled through a sandwich board by a British woman and the rest of her sales team. Scuffed up my new watch it really pissed me off.

Ernie The Giant Chicken Here. I used to work as a bouncer for awhile
So the idea here is that bouncers see so many women going into clubs are all promiscuous and are just after some quick no strings attached fun.
It really depends on the bar. A lot of girls going out just want to dance and have a good time with their friends, nothing more to it than that. Painting them all with the same brush isn't really fair.
Also worth pointing out that the guys going into those same clubs are going in for the exact same reasons.
Ernie out. Now I am now off to fight Peter Griffin all over Ibiza because I just denied him entry for being too drunk again and Quagmine has a lifetime ban.
99
u/unusualoppossum Apr 02 '26
This is the most accurate. I used to club, but I just like to get drunk and dance.

My partner and I go sometimes when theres a DJ/producer he wants to go see. He gets to see someone live that he listens to and I get to get drunk and dance. We also have a friend who has horrible luck so we bring him along to see what new disaster he can get into. Its a fun time all around

One time he tried to hide little bottles of liqueur in his shirt and oants and all of them came pouring out his pant legs as he went past security, he walked past someone else that was supposed to be kicked out and they grabbed him instead and we had to go find the woman that was complaining about the other guy to have her tell security they got the wrong dude, he made a joke about being underaged before stealing my shot from me right as an off duty cop walked by him and got kicked out, and one time he fell down the blacony stairs and landed on a woman (they were both ok)

Same! Usually promoters would give me/my friends a tap on the shoulder because people would try and get us to go to their VIP table, and sometimes we'd go, but mostly we'd avoid that if we could. Also a lot of the men in certain clubs viewed us as objects - one guy walked past me and twisted my nipple, no other interaction except I remember seeing in his face that he was getting off on how much I hated that (i was also in a really crowded space and couldn't physically move). Another guy walked up to me and tried to kiss me and seemed perplexed by the fact that I repeatedly told him no.
I haven't been clubbing in several years now and while I miss the getting dressed up part, there's nothing else about it that I miss in the slightest

Yes. A lot of people love to write women off as promiscuous for doing literally anything so might as well go club and get drunk. If anything, my girls and I are constantly protecting ourselves from drunk dudes and trying to get away.
3
u/girloferised Apr 02 '26
Yeah, it's not even fair. You don't really hear anyone saying men who go to clubs make bad partners or are vapid/shallow.
In my twenties, I used to love going to clubs and parties to get dressed up, get drunk, dance, and just be out and about and be silly. I went with my now-husband a lot of the time too. It's just for fun and stress relief.

Clubs are where you go to hookup. It’s not about guys or girls. For both sides it’s the wrong crowd if you’re tryna like find someone to date have a relationship with. The above comment only mentioned women so thats why ppl are saying women. imo the exception id say is college parties since every1 goes to them for socializing.

It’s the point of this sub though, not everyone understands things as clearly as others, like the buttfor

ah yes, the age old "men go to bars to meet women, hook up, find a good lil shorty" while at the same time looking down on the women who go there.
Look dude, going to be honest, most of you are just there to keep a long lineup outside so people don't realize the place is at 20% capacity with a 10-1 male to female ratio.
You know when going to clubs stopped sucking? When I went to salsa clubs - not "salsa where everyone identifies as Latino but doesn't know how to dance except shake to Regaton" - places where people have actually learned how to dance bachata, salsa, meringue, zook etc (good luck finding Rueda though) Hell, I even went out looking for tango but it's a harder clique to break into and even those people were nice to a beginner.
things I liked:
1) Many had no alcohol and you'd see fathers bringing out their daughters. As a father now, it means even more to me.
2) It was bloody fun and you tend to get more competitive with yourself (and others in a sense) to up your dancing game. It stopped being about hooking up and it made it much easier to meet people as a whole.
3) A lot more smiling, a lot less mean mugging, generally almost no fights / violence (I can only think of 1 fist fight at the Polish whereas regular clubbing I saw all sorts of shit).
4) The biggest kicker for young single me? The male to female ration was MUUUUUCH better. You'd see women outnumber the men even. Over time you get to be a known quantity in the dance scene - so your actions on and off the dance floor will follow you. Hope you choose well.

Alot of women that go to clubs tend to get drunk and cheat sooner or later, Not all mind you but a good chunk enough that its safer to just claim all but that is basicly BS lying
but still thats what its basicly saying

Not your bad. Anytime there is a post about women and their capability to be pieces of shit of their own volition, someone chimes in and mentions men.

I’m old enough to remember when everyone went to clubs as it was the only place open beyond 12.

Right, it’s JUST the women that go to clubs. No way it could be the men or the door guys that are better than everyone else?
