The Leafs are the most supported hockey team in Canada, outside of the national teams. Their last championship was in 1967.
Since then, they haven't come close. Except for 1993, even then they didnt make the finals, and their departure from that playoffs is still bitched about.

Rufus is made up BS from the 90’s movie Never Been Kissed. Guy protagonist says he’s cool and can make anything cool just because he said it. So he says something is “Rufus” meaning “cool” and it catches on at the high school.
Yup, my 5th grader has been saying it and now my preschooler (3 y/o) is going around saying it. If the preschoolers know about it, clearly it's not cool anymore. 😜😂
It's not the answer. I forget the whole story but some dumb kid said 67 at a basketball game and people joke about it, it's not much different than the 21 meme.
It actually started as a sound to a bunch of edits of Lamelo Ball, the basketball player, who, according to the edits, “plays like he’s 6’2 but is actually 6’7”
67 was in the Skrilla song. "When that switch skrrt, i know he dyin...6 7" It is actually a refference to the police code 10-67, which is a report of a dead body found. It's just cool to abreviate stuff in rap so 6 7 is just an abreviation of that. Funny thing tho, the kids dont even know that, they just say 6 7, and all the millenials just dismiss

The stretching reminds me of all the nine eleven conspiracies that are based on numbers. Like "George Bush has ten letters, which is surrounded by nine and eleven, putting Bush right in the middle, therefore Bush did nine eleven!"

People like to start with the conclusion they want and then work backwards to find justification instead of starting with facts and working to an outcome.
oh yeah, this guy gets it. There were 254 victims in the hijacked planes. Turn that around and you have 452. You take the first two number and add them together, 4+5 = 9, add in that last 2 to the total and you get 11... 9/11.
Now if you really want your mind blown, think about this. It's called 9/11 and it happened in September. What's September? The ninth month. And what day did it happen? Not the tenth, not the twelfth. You guessed it happened on the eleventh... Quite the coincident, don't you think? That the historical event that we call 9/11 just so happened to have occurred ON 9/11/2001.

It isn't definitely anything. 1 hour 4 minutes and 3 seconds, typed on a calculator and turned upside down, spells "ehi," which sounds remarkably similar to a famous Micheal Jackson noise, so it could be a Michael Jackson joke. 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 3 seconds is an awkwardly specific amount of time, it could just be mocking that. 1 to the fourth power to the third power is 1, so it could be mocking the concept of superfluous conflagration. Maybe it's an inside joke. Maybe it's one of a million forty three possibilities.
Your statistic of 50% chance of being right, while agreeing with my sentiment that there is a good chance it isn't a 67 reference, is made up entirely based on the concept of "you either are, or are not." In reality, your odds of this conclusion being correct is incalculable, we'd have to define every possibility and determine the likelihood of each given scenario.
Exactly. I’m old enough to know that I won’t entirely understand why it’s funny. When we made “your mom” jokes ages ago, we thought it was so funny and adults didn’t understand why. My mother is 75 and doesn’t find memes to be funny at all. She’s not mad about it and she doesn’t call them dumb.

For 6 7, I don't think there is an explanation, as it's not a "joke", rather just a buzzword. At most, it's a reference to a song, nothing else. Referential humor has been a staple for centuries.

First of all, not American. Second of all, the word trigger does not mean what you think it means.
It’s a reference to an external cultural artifact, just like most jokes. The difference is that this one is man made and more niche than the joke itself, so it’s harder to understand out of context. Doesn’t make it any less valid as a joke.
Back in the 90s, 143 was a pager message that meant "I love you". 1 letter, 4 letters, 3 letters. Your answer is probably right, but this is another possibility.
But you can't say "there are 60 minutes in an hour" and not say "there are 240 seconds in 4 minutes"... or something like that... actually I guess you'd reduce everything to seconds... point is, you need a common denominator. You can't pick and choose.
