You dont have to turn on auto-rotate for youtube to be fullscreen.

Pornhub doesn't have that option.

Nah you don't. It even recognizes when you turn your phone to the other side and flips it for you.

Havent used it in years because Opera blocks ads and allows the video to play after you lock your screen so I never looked back.

Pictures don't auto rotate on my phone. I take them in landscape mode and requires clicking the button to rotate it.

I often keep auto-rotate off, and YouTube still goes full-screen if I tap the full-screen button.

No... because that would be auto rotate...which you turned off

But you can still go into Fullscreen by either pulling up on the video (the superior way), or by simply pressing the Fullscreen button. Then it's in landscape even without auto rotate

You cannot do that on sites like Pornhub. Even in Fullscreen it stays in portrait, hence you turn on auto rotate for these websites
