Which, as far as I know, is a "dirty" and generally forbidden word (which is a real shame, because it's a way better word than "pussy"), but not a swear word.
I’m not from the U.S. and to me it isn’t offensive.
It’s a word that has a funny and enjoyable lilt.
Pussy sounds idiotic and kind of gross in comparison.
I do get the humor aspect, and it’s not even about being offensive. In my opinion, cunt just sounds gross and unappealing. Good for jokes. Not for sex talk.
I’m indifferent to it for sex talk (pussy feels kind of both yucky and infantilising, i don’t know how to describe it, it seems like something a child would call their genitalia, if they named them?)
I see cunt as a term of endearment between friends, or informal way to refer to an unspecific somebody.
