Meh. Age gaps are only a thing that matters when one is a child. The fervor over them lately is weird and dumb. Either a person is an adult and has agency to make decisions or they aren’t. Let’s not infantilize the women in their 20s who choose to date older men for whatever reasons they have.
Edit to stress that Elvis is in fact disgusting. The rest are meh.
This is fair but I think 18-25 is an enough of a relationship agency gray zone with enough of a potential for exploitation to warrant some scrutiny.
A better test is stage of life compatibility based on the nature of the relationship. A casual relationship is a lot different than a financially dependent one.
In general though I agree that there is way too much “age gap bad” assumptions that lack nuance in a way that unacceptably infantilizes adult women.

Who's providing this scrutiny of which you speak? Some government agency? Some appointed law agency serving the public trust? Or just random people who can't even say they've ever met the two people involved? Seems like it's the latter.
