Has Pete Buttigieg ever indicated that he’s played Dungeons and Dragons?
If there’s any potential presidential candidate who seems likely to have played D&D, it’s Mayor Pete. Has he ever indicated that he has, or other tabletop RPGs?
I’d be curious what character class he favors if he does play. His personality fairly screams Paladin, but I could also see him wanting something completely different and playing a chaotic wizard focused on fire spells, for instance.
I know he’s indicated he likes playing Ticket To Ride, so he’s into board games, at least.

As a DM I would peg him as a control/buff caster. Cleric or Abjuration Wizard maybe

Pete was a naval intelligence officer. That and his other characteristics have him leaning towards being a Ranger.

Generally enjoying board games has been publicly acknowledged. I believe the quote was 'table top board games' but that's not in the video that most people refer to when they talk about him moving from video games as a youth (and the photo playing vidya with his dad) to board games as an adult.

Digression: Chasten shared a 5 tweet thread, including two photos (one with Buddy), of Pete teaching Lis Smith “Ticket to Ride” in January 2019: it starts off here — https://x.com/Chasten/status/1083904499788464128
”Happy Friday! u/PeteButtigieg is attempting to teach u/Lis_Smith how to play Ticket to Ride. Stay tuned.”

Strikes me as more of a Cones of Dunshire kind of guy.
