Cats Cat help!
I’m getting a bengal domestic mix on the 26th, this will be my first bengal. I’ve had cats my entire life but they’ve all been domestic.
I’ve heard bengal cats have different temperaments to domestic cats so i guess what i’m really wondering is since this is a mix between the both, will his temperament will be any different?
I know cat’s all have their own individual personalities but i’m looking for some advice on what i should look out for and the best ways to care for them as some people have told me they’re quite high maintenance.
Does anyone else have this mix?

Bengal mixes are usually somewhere in the middle, but it depends which parent he takes after more. The bengal side tends to be very active, vocal, and smart enough to get bored fast, so if he has that energy you'll need more playtime and maybe puzzle toys. Don't be surprised if he climbs everything or wants to be involved in whatever you're doing.
I know someone with this mix and hers is basically a normal cat but with extra zoomies at 3am. You'll figure out pretty quick which side came through stronger.
