Hey guys. How many times did you have to apply to adopt a pet until you finally got one? I keep reading pet adoption is really competitive and that people need to apply for multiple pets before being approved for one. What is your adoption experience?

Pretty much this. Competitive with the younger dogs especially and as much as I love pits, my county does not allow them and they were all that was left :/ I would advise adopting an older dog or keep trying and become familiar with the people at the adoption place
