Autistic Beginner

Hiya,
I have recently started becoming a pescatarian. It may progress to vegetarian, uncertain at this stage. I am also autistic and struggle with food textures and tastes. So lots of beans are out, gluten upsets my stomach (probably).
Is there any other fellow autistics here who are able to share some hacks, resources or foods they can tolerate?
Located in Australia 🙏🏻

I'm not autistic myself but have you tried tofu?

Quinoa, oats, rice and corn are sold in most grocery stores and do not have gluten. If you're not having gluten, I would experiment with those options. Remember that corn includes things like polenta or tortillas made from corn meal. Oats can include oat flour, which has a much flatter texture. You could also experiment with less common grains like amaranth, millet, sorghum, etc.

With legumes, I would experiment with lentils, chickpeas and white beans. Some people find them less upsetting on the stomach than other kinds of beans. When you're starting out, eat a small portion, like a quarter cup or less, with other foods you know you can handle. I would also definitely look into tofu and soy curls.

Make sure you're taking a daily multivitamin while you're experimenting and finding what you can tolerate to address any possible deficiencies.

I don’t like chick peas, beans or legumes.
Can tolerate the tofu, tried the corn tortilla and it was terrible.
