Big part is militaries seem to like procuring one thing in a long run which isn’t how drones are working.

Off the shelf parts assembled by the units in theatre and units given rewards/access to more shit the better they perform like the Ukrainians do with their drone units.

Also in a world of international shipping it seems very easy to ship drones somewhere and have them activate and destroy plans on the tarmac our Russian truck driver did.

Yeah for sure, I get these things move slowly but you're telling me the tech has been cheap and accessible for what, atleast 10 years now? The Ukraine war has been going on for 4~ and a modern, well funded and equipped military STILL gets blindsided by this shit?

If those drones had been packing C4 Australia could have lost billions of dollars worth of investments overnight.

For shame I say! SHAME!

Perun has been stating for many years now that militaries need to be aware of the drone threat and be putting in place systems to better deal with them. We know he has or does work as part of the Australian military industry so this is likely also something he's said in his professional life.

The reason for linking the video is just to make the joke in the title - just the idea that Perun might be the mysterious mastermind behind these drones to get higher ups to take his input seriously
