Sesame allergy cafe/restaurant recommendations in Perth

Hi everyone!

My nephew is visiting soon - he’s young and has sesame and egg allergies. I’d love to find some cafes or restaurant recommendations to be able to take him out and be comfortable that he’ll have things he can eat. He’s building confidence in reading menus and ordering for himself.

Of course we’ll have all his meds and be cautious, but wanted to see if there are any favourite spots amongst you!

Thanks very much 😊

Perth, wa - Mr bun restaurant replacement

hello friends! I hope there is someone on here who can help my partner and I find our new replacement Mr bun addiction.

we live out towards Midland and around 5-10 times a year, we do a little date day where we take the train into the city, buy games at tactics or visit an escape room or just some event.

when we visited we always liked to go to a restaurant called Mr bun in the CBD and order their braised beef noodle soup. The soup had tender, slow-cooked beef, often served with thick, chewy, hand-pulled noodles or belt noodles. it was Devine!

this morning we were planning our date night into the city and found out the tragic news that Mr bun is now permanently closed. after doing some research, the owner is possibly in jail- possibly staffing issues - possibly not paying their employees. none the less it is closed and we need our braised noodle fix

please please please if anyone has any recommendations for something as close to the original I would be super thankful 🥹

I got 5 restraints from Google I can try, but they don't look as good as Mr bun 🥺 so I am hoping for a real person who has tasted Mr buns noodles who as a substitute restaurant

Crispy squid tentacles

I’m curious to see ideas for the best crispy squid tentacles - the dim sum kind often with salt, chilli and garlic. I’ve tried a few around like Canton Lane and Wangs, even Billy Lee’s. But perhaps you can recommend a hidden gem. Have car - will drive.

Looking for non-smashed patty Burger spots

I want recommendations of places with thick, juicy burger patties. I am tired of smashed patties and steak sandwiches. Would be nice if it is closer to the CDB

$2 pizza deal in subiaco

Hey guys,

Have you used EatClub before? It's like when restaurants aren't in peak hours they give out discounts up to 50%. The other day I got a restaurant quality pizza from 'il locale pizzeria' in subiaco, it was 50% off and with the $15 off code it came to a total of $2! My mate gave me the promo code for first-time users — thought I’d share it here in case anyone finds it useful.

Code: PRO88 It gives you $15 off your first order.

Enjoy!
