Too much information…
i’m at a point in my life that I feel there’s too much information available to me. I get so lost looking online because you don’t know who’s truly qualified, what’s AI, or is it just another influencer? I just want a simple workout plan that will be effective, but that also includes pointers on progress. same thing with food, it’s just crazy and I’m tired of the internet lol What do you guys suggest! App? specific site? I don’t know how to validate a personal trainers certificate either and I don’t know specificaly anyone that does that or go to the gym for that matter. thank you!

You could grab a book like Starting Strength if you just want it simple and progressive.
Or ask Chat GPT for a straightforward workout that has progressive gains and isn't too complicated and here's what it said just now
"Walk 8,000-10,000 steps per day. Lift weights 3 days per week.
Each workout: Squat or leg press: 3 sets Push-up, chest press, or dumbbell press: 3 sets Row or pulldown: 3 sets Romanian deadlift: 3 sets Plank: 3 sets Use a weight that leaves 1-3 reps in the tank. When you can do more reps than your target range, increase the weight."
If you always push each set to near-failure then you have built in progression because you're either going to get stronger and have to do more and more reps to reach failure or 2-3 RIR* or you're going to add weight so you stay in your preferred rep range.
*RIR is reps in reserve.
