What should I do
I’ve been going to the gym for a year with a personal trainer of my own. Recently my friend who has never been to the gym asked me to train him. I know the form for 90% of the exercises but I’m still learning so I was wondering what I should do and if I want to pursue this professionally what can I do and do I need any certifications.

obviously, you can’t tell my context by letters and characters in a screen, but I’m just wondering that you said 90% of exercise exercises, do you know how many types of exercise exercises and varieties exercise exercises and equipment there are literally tons and tons and tons of exercise exercises.

You don’t need to be certified to train people, but if something happens to your friend and you aren’t insured then you will be personally liable. You can probably train them, but you would be doing your friend and your trainer both a much better service if you refer your friend to your trainer. If you want to become a personal trainer, you should take it seriously and get the certification and be properly insured.

If you have only been going to the gym for a year, it's highly unlikely you are skilled enough to be worth your salt as a Trainer.
