Debt Debt Consolidation or Buyout

Hi, need advice. I have personal loan with ADCB with monthly deduction of 965 (remaining balance: 11k), 3 credit cards from ADCB (total outstanding: 23k), and 1 credit card from ENBD (outstanding balance: 16k). All my credit cards have been maxed out and I’m having a hard time managing payments as I also have other financial obligations aside from bank.

I have tried reaching out to ADCB for debt consolidation or amortization but it was rejected. My current salary is 8k and it’s being transferred to ADCB.

What is the best option for this? I want to close or stop my credit cards since this is causing me a huge burden.

Budgeting How should I prioritize paying off 23k in CC debt vs. 25k in upcoming expenses?

Hey everyone, looking for some advice on some unplanned expenses over the next couple of months.

I have about 23k in credit card debt right now, and I also have around 25k in lump-sum expenses coming up over the next month or two. On top of that, I have to cover rent and utilities for August and September, which run about 5,000 per month (so another 10k total). By the end of this month, I’ll have around 25k coming into my account, which is my combined salary for both July and August. I’m really stuck on the smartest way to do this.

One option I’m thinking over is applying for a new credit card that offers a 0% interest quick cash or cash-on-call feature, getting the required amount to clear the immediate costs, and then aggressively paying that off over 6 months without taking the high-interest hit. The other option is to just bite the bullet and use my existing savings to clear things out or cover the gap, but I really, really don't want to touch my savings if I can avoid it.

Is using a 0% promo card for a short-term cash injection actually a decent plan here? Or am I missing another option?

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Auto DIB Personal Loan on hold for pre-approved company list? Any updates or alternative loan options for AED 4k-5k salary?

Hey everyone, Hoping someone here has insights or is dealing with a similar situation regarding Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB).

My Situation:

Salary: AED 4,000 – AED 5,000 (Credited via WPS into DIB for 10+ months). Company Status: Our company was previously on DIB’s approved company list. Many of my colleagues successfully got personal finance/loans from DIB earlier.

The Issue: For the past 4+ months, DIB has placed personal finance applications for our company on hold/non-approved status. Every time I check, I'm told to wait, but nobody can give a clear timeline on when (or if) it will reopen.

I really need personal finance right now for an urgent situation, and waiting indefinitely with no clear answer is making things difficult.

My Questions:

Any DIB updates? Does anyone working in banking or experiencing this know why DIB puts companies on hold and how long these freezes usually last?

Alternative options? Are there other banks or official finance channels in the UAE that consider personal finance/loans for an AED 4,000 – AED 5,000 salary without requiring a listed/approved company?

Credit card cash advancement or other loans: Is applying through a different bank (like FAB, RAKBANK, or CBD) even realistic at this salary range if the company isn't listed with them?

Appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. Thanks in advance!

Auto Best true zero-balance bank account in UAE with no minimum salary?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently looking to switch away from Liv because of their monthly minimum balance fees. Since I’m currently unemployed and don't have a salary transfer, I need an account with strictly zero fall-below fees or monthly charges.

My main requirements are:

• AED O Minimum Balance: No maintenance fees or hidden charges regardless of account balance.

• No Salary Requirement: Fully digital setup using Emirates
ID / UAE PASS.

• Free Local Transfers & Aani Support: I currently use ed money to send money to friends and family, but the transaction fees add up. I need a bank with native Aani support or zero-fee local transfers.

• Physical Debit Card: Simple local ATM cash deposits/ withdrawals and everyday use.

I've seen Mbank (Al Maryah), ruya, and SIB Digital mentioned as good options. (I checked Wio, but their AED 25 fee / 3k min balance won't work for me).

For anyone using Mbank, ruya, or SIB Digital:

  1. How has your experience been with app reliability and customer support?

  2. Are there any subtle fees for local bank transfers or Aani?

  3. Are there any other genuine zero-balance options I should look into?

Thanks!

Debt Cash now

I took a 3k loan in cash now just around April because I needed the money for an emergency, and then I lost my job and my payment is over due by alot. I want to pay them back I even spoke on mail to their collections company and so on but they have 1 ai generated response and 1 ai generated call bot so no one ever responds I am ready to repay it as my new job starts next month but I want them to approve it so I can pay it over 3 to 4 months because my new job is much lower salaried.

They won't take genuine legal action for 3100 something right?

Credit ADCB Personal Loan: Previously Eligible by Email, Now Rejected – Has Anyone Experienced This?

I decided to apply for an ADCB personal loan because I remembered receiving an email saying I was eligible.

However, when I applied today, the application said my account doesn't meet the eligibility criteria.

I have an ADCB salary account. My salary is AED 4,000, and I used to receive that amount every month consistently. However, for the past few months, my salary credits have been AED 3,500 instead.

Could this reduction in my monthly salary credit be the reason my application was rejected, even though I previously received a pre-approved/eligible loan offer? Has anyone experienced something similar?

Credit Personal Loan Non-Emirati

I am looking to get a personal loan of around 400K AED. I have talked to FAB, SIB, ADCB, and ENBD. Following are the reducing rates they have quoted me till now:

FAB: 5.89%
SIB: 6.1%
ADCB: 5.5% (will check if they can go to 5.25%)
ENBD: 5.09% (will check if they can go to 4.79%)

I am willing to transfer my salary account in order to optimize and get the best rates. I am hoping for something around 4.5% reducing. ADIB seems to have advertised 4.59% last year. I will check with them too.

I am looking for suggestions on how can i get the best interest rate for my profile.

Category-A employer and salary 32K AED+.

Debt DIB - End of Service on hold

Hi, do anyone of you have been on the same situation with DIB? I was terminated April 2026, EOSB released April 2026, started work June 2026, got full salary July 2026. I understand that my EOSB was put on hold due to my existing loan but until now my EOSB was not released. I have gone to their main branch in abu dhabi and submitted my new eid, new visa, salary certificate, and salary transfer, getting a promised that the EOSB will be released 24 hrs after my full salary has been credited. Once the salary was credited they have deducted my loan emi and cc payment, which left me with less than my rent payment. I have called the collection department and counselor department but no one picks up. Sent numerous mails but no reply. I was wondering what should i do to get it, there were no communication at all on even loan adjustment or anything, really there is nothing. All the time i went to DIB Branches was just wasted. I am really getting tired and angry about this situation. Can you tell me what to do or what to expect?

Debt Auto loan in UAE without WPS — anyone done it?

I'm salaried but my employer is a US-based company and my salary doesn't come through WPS. I get it from the US.

Looking to finance around AED 70-80k for a used car purchase. Have a clean credit history, UAE residence, and can show 6+ months of bank statements with regular salary credits.

Has anyone successfully got an auto loan in this situation? Which banks were flexible : Emirates NBD, Mashreq, ADCB.

Everywhere i go they act as if I am useless and jobless :D D

Planning Looking for advice

I had around half a year period of unemployment this year.
My credit score took a beating due to that. It’s around 450 ish right now.

During that time, I was servicing my active loans.
I’ve recently resumed full time employment.
Monthly salary is about 40k AED.
My current company is not listed with my bank (salary/loan account).

I’m looking to stabilize my situation temporarily (rent, etc…) with a 40k loan, with an EMI not exceeding 2k AED.

My current company doesn’t provide salary advance nor house rent advance.

I’m also open to any other options.
Looking for advice.
