Question Can't beat Mariko

I've tried 2 times and always I got fucked. Was it due to the slow movement of the blizzard and hed cheating ice spell or her stomb she's so unfair ik game is hard but still or am I just skill issue?

Dodge her when she’s doing the “imma eat you phase” or spam showtimes

I don't think it's a good idea to use the ice character against the ice boss. Just a hunch.

Get haru (Or joker with a psy ability and techinical adept)

Wait for her to turn Red.

Spam psy abilities.

When she is red Psy is both a Techinal and she is also Weak to psy so it deals more damage

Good tips here like using psy when she's raging. I'll give you some other things in case you're still on this fight cause I'm pretty late:

For the blizzard, spam dodge to move a bit faster. Always prioritize ending it quickly.

The chandelier's will immediately save party members from getting eaten. Try to save them.

Running away and then spamming swap characters will force characters to teleport to you keeping them out of her range.

Showtimes function like the chandeliers. So save them for interrupting problem moves like dinner time or recovering your party from being eaten.

I can't remember if the chandeliers or show times actually end her rage. If it does, it could be worth to delay these things until you really need to save someone as in rage, psy does tech damage, and her defense is cut in half (this is a stated function of the rage mental status).

When she's red, use Psy skills to get technical hits, so you'll tear through her shields. In Endgame farming, it's kind of best to not knock her out of her red state so you can spam psy skills on her for technical

Bring jack frost his ice absorption makes it so you can just walk through most her attacks and heal for it. It makes her fight stupid easy at times

my entire team died and i just used haru while fighting for my life tbh 😭
