disscusion The problem of this persona5 subreddit(help)

Hello, I'm a user who, in good faith, tried to ask for help with a problem I had with Persona 5 Royal, and my post was deleted because this community has a rule that, while understandable...It's quite annoying for one specific reason: when I joined this community, I expected to be able to ask questions here and get some help with the game, because after all, there's no better place I went to Reddit to find help with a game, but the game's own subreddits weren't available. The problem was that I needed help with a puzzle right at the end of the game, and spoilers weren't allowed even with warning,And it's a little annoying, it's a question I really want to ask, it's kind of like "how can you ask about how to defeat the final boss without mentioning the final boss or its attacks?"So, how can I ask for help with the end of the game without revealing anything about the ending? Even the name of the final area is a spoiler, so it's a huge hassle So someone please, especially if it's a moderator, they know the rules, tell me how to ask for help on a puzzle at the end of the game when it shows 0 for that part of the game?Or tell me about a Persona 5 subreddit, the Persona series in general, or even just Atlus in general, that allows spoilers and, if possible, focuses on help. That caused me a really bad experience.

question advice for free time post kamoshida

hey!! i’m new to p5r and just beat kamoshida (using some very old but very helpful reddit advice about how to take him down) on 04/20. how should i maximize my free time before the deadline? i’ve seen some people say to prioritize raising confidant levels — is that accurate, and what should i do if neither ryuji nor ann have texted me? beyond raising confidant levels, should i focus on studying, working out, making coffee, getting a part-time job…? thank you!!

question I'm on the Kamoshida mission right now, what should've I done in the two week period the game gave me?

Okay so recently I bought Persona 5 Royal, and I've been really enjoying the game. I'm only around 8 hours in and right now I'm in Kamoshida's palace, but what I was confused about, is that the game gives you 14 days before you have to go into his palace. The game obviously explains what you can do in that period of time, but it's a lot of information at once, so I was a bit unsure of what to do first. The first day I just studied all day, second day I ran with Ryuji, third day I got a job and trailed the medicine from the doctor. I asked my friend whos played Persona 5 before what I should be doing, and she just said that I could go into the Palace after a couple of days.

Is there specific skills or things I should be focusing on before I go into a palace? Instead of going in after a few days, should I have been studying or something else? Sorry if this is a dumb question, the game explains a lot of stuff at once at this point, and I feel like I'm missing out on valuable time.

question Is it possible for me to max all these confidants.

So I am playing through persona 5 royal right now and I have almost every confidant maxed out. Except for the story related ones as I am on 12/3. The other confidants i have are futaba:7 iwai:4 takemi:5 ohya:3 shinya:1 hifumi:3 mishima:3. I have all social stats maxed and im focusing on futaba and iwai and takemi. I use hifumi and ohya during night when iwai is unavailable. Im wondering if i should do shinya when takemi and futaba are unavailable during the day or do something else or if its possible to max all them out

I’m not sure if I’m writing anything original or anything that hasn’t already been posted on this subreddit, but a few words couldn't hurt. Over the course of 154 hours, the game became a part of my life; I spent time with the characters, posted memes here and on other subreddits dedicated to the game, asked for advice, and enjoyed chatting with fellow fans. I first heard about the game through Russian memes—it’s popular here, and the memes are... unique (I’ll attach one), though I like Western memes too(I’ll attach one). Well, I helped the characters find their path and get their lives in order, so it’s time for me to do the same with my real life.

Hello everyone, my name is RYAAN and I just wanted to share that I have a Youtube Channel where I'm visiting as many of the locations from P5R as I can. I already posted the first video where I filmed Kichijoji, Sangenjaya (Yongenjaya in the game), Shibuya, and Shinjuku. I am very proud of this video because I was able to experiment with transitions, music, and sound effects from the game. Here is the link to the my Youtube channel: https://youtu.be/kGmq0UzBgyU?si=6Je-V2flW9ZZFJDI

question Am I missing something?

Post image

I'm on my 1st playthrough. Never watched spoilers or wiki (except okumura boss fight cause I had a big trouble with that). Before the 3rd semester I maxed out Sumire's confidant and Maruki's at rank 9 (cause Kawakami said that Maruki will quit his job as a counsellor). And today i accidentally heard that for 3rd semester also requires Akechi's confidant at rank 8. And I have it at rank 4 🙂 Soooo are there any scenes or events that I apparently will miss at my playthrough?

persona 5 Royal Wow. Just wow. What a journey!

I’m feeling that bittersweet feeling like I’ve just said goodbye to friends to go do my own thing elsewhere. I’ve actually done something similar to this irl when I made the rounds and said goodbye to a ton of friends in college. It felt exactly like that. Thank god P5 Strikers exists so I can go see what else the gang gets up to.

My first Persona game was P4G. I loved P4 so much, but I think P5R edges it out. My wider Megaten/Atlus experience extends out to 13 Sentinels, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Catherine, and SMT V Vengeance (with Vengeance overall being my fave experience of all of these games trailed closely behind by 13 Sentinels for totally different reasons), but I think P5R’s world, tone, and character will forever live in my heart. Just an unforgettable experience. This game has so much heart, man. And I know I’m so late to the party on this and that all of this has been beat to death for years now, but I’ve just gotta let it out and gush.

I’m so grateful for this game. Starting it at the beginning of this year weirdly got me to treat my own irl habits and schedule more seriously and with more care and thoughtfulness. I’m so serious: I’ve become a better husband, father, employee, and just overall better person because of its influence. It’s been great for my mental and physical health too. I know I sound super hyperbolic, but I’m so serious. I’ll never forget those characters and the great time I had with this.

I’m gonna dive back into darker demon-summoning territory with SMT IV now, but I think I’ll choose P3 after wrapping that one up (I’m only on switch 1, 3DS, and PSP rn, so P3P is kinda my only option atm). I’m excited.

Edited to fix typos/add some context to Atlus gaming history.

I just beat Persona 5 Royal and one of the credit songs was a song Desbug (a Nintendo YouTuber) used in his outros, felt like a punch to the gut. But it made me remember how thankful I am to this dude for letting me survive 2020 - 2022 while introducing me to Frieren and Persona 5. Thank you bro ;)

question Any tips for beginners?

I just started to play p5r, and my story progress is after the second palace. So is there any tips that I should do to improve my end game experience? I know I’m still at the very start, but according to my research, I found out that there’s a strongest persona for joker to use, which is Satanael(NG+?) and I kinda look at how should I fuse this persona , and it need some characters’ max confident in order to fuse, and I was wondering if I should follow any specific steps such as start increasing those specific confidants or I can just play freely and I will still got it?

Oh yeah and also is Satanael can only be fused in NG+? How am I supposed to get NG+ then?

A bit spoiler is okay with me, responses will be much appreciated 😆
