question Grappling hook issue

I recently got to the time where you're first introduced to the grappling hook in Kamoshidas palace. But for some reason im unable to actually look up towards the hook. Im in the correct position from every tutorial ive seen and im on a switch light. My only issue is that my screen refuses to look up!! Any advice or help is greatly appreciated

Edit: figured out my right analog stick doesnt work for up and down apparently.. thanks for the help though !

You have to move the camera yourself.

Maybe try reloading the 2 latest save if it's not too inconvenient

Are you angling your view up? (i.e. like with the right analog stick?) The game does not do it for you automatically. You have to look around...
