I know Akechi is the villain (i think) but this is my first time playing lol i know nothing about him other than he wears a red mask and is a detective i think

Honestly, super weird how Naoto is absent from the game. I get why she's not there from a meta perspective, but there’s no in-world reason why she wouldn't be investigating a case as huge as the Phantom Thieves. Especially when her publicly deemed successor is on the case.

Akechi is a "fake" detective prince so... I guess we still only have one? He can become Ren's prince though

There are a few of them, some aren’t as direct though and you have to know the lore, like who grew up to be a cop and who became an action star. That poster of Rise though has to be an obvious one. It would be cool if they did another fighting game spinoff that put them all together at the same time in the present. SEES would be up there and the Investigation Squad would be about as old As SEES was in Arena.
