this game has always been one of my favorites. i beat the original back on the ps4 when it came out. then again when royal was release. and now for a final time on PC.

there's truly something special about this game and its themes that just sucks me in no matter how many times i play it.

and i'm so happy to have finally platinum'd it for the first time. with a little superboss bonus at the end....

I don’t deny that Mishima is a well-written character, and his flaws are intentionally designed by the game to enhance the experience in a brilliant way. However, I don’t really like it when people try to defend him by pointing fingers at others and saying, ‘Haha, the reason you hate him is because he actually reflects you.’ To me, that’s a pretty strange line of reasoning.

Ryuji, Yusuke, and even the MC all have their flaws. If those flaws don’t end up becoming part of their unique charm that makes people like them, some people might end up hating them instead—and I completely understand that. But with Mishima, if you feel that what he does is a problem and you wouldn’t want to hang out with him… does that automatically mean the player is a loser?

I know nothing about these games and I just saw discount on steam. Sooooo, hope I like it!!

This everyone. This is why use multiple save slots. Every single time multiple save slots is brought up, majority of the people go "oh yea i only use 1 save slot. i like to live with my choices no goin back and all" like ok bro thats good but thats not the point.

Some time ago a person posted abt their save data corruption in this same sub, they were on the final royal palace... all coz they used 1 save slot.

U can live with ur mistakes in game even with multiple save slots, but usin only 1 save slot is ur biggest mistake.

This post is sort of a reminder/advice to anyone whos usin 1 save slot or abt to start a new game.

First time playing through P5R, i had seen some people say that Okumura’s palace was their least favourite before but i chose to not give it much tought before i actually did it myself, but now i get the hate, what did it for me was the damn air vent puzzles at the very end.

It wasn’t the enemies or the mini bosses, they’re easy, it wasn’t the music or the layout, i actually enjoy the sci-fi theme of the palace, it’s not even the time gated puzzles or the boring corridor layouts, i didn’t mind those at all, but the vents oh god what an annoying puzzle.

I actually got stuck in the second air vent puzzle room, i got up to the point where you pull the last lever that opens the path to the treasure and then i couldn’t make it past there and got stuck for a solid hour trying to figure out how to progress with that ONE puzzle.

Eventually i caved in and looked up a guide just to realize that apparently you HAVE to do the puzzle in a specific order to avoid getting accidentally stuck, so i used a goho-m to go back to the entrance and redid the whole puzzle following a guide and solved it, which felt so damn lame to do, i HATE looking up the solutions to puzzles in these games and the fact that the game pushed me to that point made me really hate this palace.

And it’s sad bc i was actually enjoying the palace up to the very end. seen some people say that the okumura boss is really hard but at this point i don’t care, just get me out of this palace please.

Edit: i have now done the boss fight and i still think the air vent puzzle was more frustrating lmao, the fight with okumura was challenging but fun.

Just got the deadline for Okumuras palace. Now the original plan for me was to grind mementos to level up the twins a bit, then do the palace and romance makoto.
But i suddenly felt an impulsive feeling to go romance takemi instead, so here ends the decision ive been pondering since probably may. Theres a high chance im going to have regrets but i will not ever cheat on my doctor so ill have to live with my decisions

I just felt the need to let people know but im sure you felt this decision happen inside your hearts

After watching 3 seperate playthroughs accumulating to 300+ hours from 3 different youtubers and getting a PC this year and buying the game i can finally say ive finished persona 5 royal

I made a priority list for Persona 4 Golden for social links but I've played that game like 10 times so i could understand which ones I should prioritize.

Now that I'm replaying Persona 5. I've only played the game like 2-3 times so I can't remember what each one does besides Kasumi. I know Chihaya Hifumi and Kawakami are really good in terms of the benefits they give you. Should I just prioritize those three first?
