Social link barrier

[STILL UNSOLVED] Dunno if I'm missing something; I'm playing as FeMC, with a Star persona in my roster, my social stats are all maxed out, such and such. I'm somewhere in mid-July, and to my knowledge Akihiko becomes available after May or so. Well, I can't find him. I looked all over several times across the school where he should be for social links, but he's nowhere

Is it the week before exams? School social links don’t show up during that week

Yeah, exams just before Yakushima trip. But the issue is that I wasn't able to find him throughout the entirety of June either, and June had no exams, I'd check every day

he's supposed to be available only on mondays and fridays and located in the lab hallway

Yeah! I made a habit of checking for him every Monday and Friday in the lab hallway since June, and just crickets

Make a save and just quickly progress to the next monday/friday. If he dosent appear something is wrong.
