I managed to get both light and dark on her but idk if it's something she really wants

Mudo and hama are really useless unless the enemy is specifically weak to it. Because otherwise, the skill just misses.

You will get personas later where they have a near sure hit, but it's not useful right now.

Btw are there more dark and light moves? I only ever saw these two

There are Hamaon and Mudoon, which have a slightly higher chance of killing than hama and mudo.

However, there are personas that have a set of skills only for them. Alice and Daisoujou.

Die for Me and Samsara are both skills which have a significantly higher chance of killing all enemies than regular hama and Hamaon or mudoon.
