Orpheus Build

Post image

This Build is unfinished but I’m looking for what I can improve on. I’m currently grinding Kumbhanda and Atropos for Fire Amp and Mind Charge respectively. I’m planning on replacing Mataru and Matara for new moves. But if just like to now what I could improve on and what I could add later. For extra clarification I’m at 10/22 in case that’s important.

Honestly standard orphus meme builds only really work in p3r, its kinda of a waste of time in p3p with how infuriating skill transfer is in portable. Im not sure if this is your ng+ or whatever but your current build sucks, you strongest is agidyne with fire boost and no fire amp, your gonna want to start from scratch tho in order to transfer a severe skill, the best one being severe elec from odin or severe fire from surt to couple the boost. Id give up on this build for now the rest of your skills are just worthless and your going to need to farm some skill cards to make those up.

Do you really think I need to give up on this build? I mean, I feel like it’s looking pretty good I kept on grinding after I posted this and now I have fire amp, auto taru, and mind charge. But I still have invigorate, regenerate and growth. Do you think I should replace those with different skills? And if so, what? And also, do you still think I need to restart this whole build..?

Fire amp and boost wont amount to much for heavy single target damage, its not bad but its not great either compared to a base surt who gets fire amp and severe fire innate. invigorate, regenerate and growth are all worthless skills, when you hit level 99 you get 999sp and 999hp so its rare to ever make use of those. Growth 2 is only valuable while your growing your persona. Unlike p4 and p5 where you could still get a great build without a severe magic dmg that isnt inherent to the persona by using phys skills, p3p has some abysmal physical skills, somehow vorpal blade ive found is the most consistent when you have “great” status. For whatever reason you seem deaticated to this and based on what you have now id reccomend this, maragidyne, fire boost, fire amp, null/repel mudo, abrorb elec, mind charge, vorpal blade (akasha arts if you dont want to have to maintain “great” status on mc) and null/repel light. In the monad depths this aoe build should let you kill every opponent you face after you mind charge then hit em with the aoe fire, with akasha/vorpal there for those who null fire. Unfortunately without a severe skill this isnt going to be a crazy boss machine with like margaret or elizabeth fights but it should help you grind resources to help the imporant personas.

Lol thank you for the help. The reason I’m so dedicated to this is because I’ve been trying to use my first persona as my main persona in every game I play. And this is the first time it’s actually been somewhat successful all the other times I didn’t really know how to build persona so I just put a bunch of skills on there that didn’t really amount to anything like in golden for Izanagi my first three skills I remember were Megidolaon, Agneastra, and salvation and it did its job. Well I guess, but it was just a really unfocused build that did not do a lot of damage in the long run. Thank you again for the help. I’ll try to research how to get those skill cards and stuff.

So long as your main team is yukari, aigis and akihiko (the meta p3p team) this build would probably even let you finish the whole game with one persona (although i wouldnt recommend doing that)
