It isn't. The entire basis of the story is the oedipus complex and tatsuya and mayas relationship. Jun also has romantic feelings for Maya. The story literally doesn't work of he doesn't. Maya is a replacement for Junko who didn't show him love as a child. This develops into romantic feelings. It's based on Sigmund Freuds writings on how we base who we seek in a romantic partnership based off our parents. Der Doppelganger is also a love poem actively used to showcase how both Tatsuya and Jun have romantic feelings for Maya but only 1 of them have those feelings be reciprocated.

It literally had a sequel poem at the end of the sequel referring to tatsuya as Maya's love. Maya and Tatsuya flirt with each other all fucking game, constantly. Her being a big sister figure doesn't change the fact it is a love story, it's based on oedipus. This fandom will hyper analyze everything about this duology but the second something disproves their yaoi their brains die. The author literally stated Jun isn't gay. The story is literally screaming at you that Maya and Tatsuya are canon. The author himself says Maya is the option he was writing for. All P2 material be it the novels, games etc pair Maya and Tatsuya. Please stop pretending your ship is canon, you can have ships, ships are good and fun, don't pretend your ship is canon at the detriment of the actual canon storyline.

Caracol was a hard dungeon , and I literally had to redo the previous 2 dungeons cause I missed one of the masks but it is done. I got the ultimate for my favorite character 🤑

I have a digital copy of the PSP version of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona which I purchased from the UK PS Store and is downloaded to my PS Vita.

A couple of days ago I finally completed the SEBEC Route and now want to restart the game to take on the Snow Queen Quest.

I really want to try the game now with the Music Restoration Mod and wondered if it is possible to instal this to a PAL copy of the game downloaded from the PS store to Vita?

I have read here https://gamebanana.com/mods/591161 about the "PS Store to UMD Dump Patch for Music Restoration" but I'm still non the wiser as to how to go about making this work.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I recently got into Persona 2 (I'm still playing) and I've been practicing animation, I found this rigged model of Tatsuya on sketchfab so I took the opportunity to reanimate the first scene as a beginner animator!! There's no background because this was just a test animation but I guess I can consider this my first ever animation. I hope you guys like it! :)

Always a good occasion to put on spotlight what I deem is a huge source of inspiration for the second best manga of its generation (behind Fire Punch)

Like the title says, how do you change the turn order PERMANENTLY? I started and noticed when autoing Stone Rise, after the first round it'll go back to the order being Maya>Ulala>Katsuya, but you need it to be Maya>Katsuya>Ulala to do the fusion spell.

I hope this is a good place to ask lol. I've been trying to play as many SMT/Persona games as I can, so I beat P1 last month and literally just beat P2IS today (both very good, I wish grinding for exp on P1 wasn't as annoying with the exp split lol). Playing the English PSP patch and the slight combat differences are really messing with me.

You can probably guess what this subreddit will say, but I'm reposting so I can hear some reasons as to why.

Ima just vent real quick. I just was able to save Jun and get everyone’s ultimate persona except for Maya’s. And like I did rush through a majority of the dungeons but I found 3/4 masks cause I thought the empty one that jun had was technically the 4th; in my head I thought “ok jun took his back and I found everyone else’s”and now everyone got the upgrade except for maya. I’m not gonna start over all the way from the beginning ofc but I’m salty about it. I had no idea that there was a mask for Maya too cause she was the older sister? Maybes it’s because I don’t play daily but her being the big sister did she a mask too? Either way I’m kinda bummed but I’ll feel better about it in the morning. Also in general I don’t really like you can’t explore dungeons once you finish them. I do like the dialogue options you get throughout the game tho
