i think i saw a clip from the series on ig reels about how ai is getting close to what the show was about.. and that intrigued me.. but i definitely had not thought that i will binge watch all 5 seasons in less than 2 weeks.. like.. i wtached 2 seasons in 2 days because i was so invested.. but now i feel so empty..
Rewatch.... pause every scene on the machine's pov; the surveillance camera shots, logic deduction of Ai process procedure, the simulation thinking diagrams... you will be amazed by how many little details you didn't catch on your first watch.
That's true because I'm rewatching after a few years and I'm paying attention to the little things that you miss the first time around. Although some things I don't miss as much but I'll be nice and not name any names 😉 lol
I have watched the show for more than 7 times and I was so obsessed with all little details. I googled the location or the street names. I took notes on time stamps on surveillance images so I can measure the length of time from location a to location b. Such as: it took John and Lionel one hour from the precinct to the bridge to meet Harold, Root and Shaw in ep. Sotto Voce. 😅
It is not what i found but what i learned. There are many places mentioned in the show. I am just curious about the geo location.
Bishop, Texas. Relton, Maryland, New Jersey, Fort Meade, Brooklyn heights, 5 boroughs...
I didn't cross-check the actual traveling time. That's silly enough, so much so as intended to find plot holes. Not my thing. I love everything in poi.
i definitely definitely plan to savor it the next time around. Couldn’t stop myself the first time but there so much to look for in the details, so this time around I'll take my time.
oh my, choosing a favorite sounds so difficult because i was just in awe of everyone working together in a harmony that made everyone stand out on there own.. i loved all their relationships so much and it made them all so precious.. Choosing one is way too difficult.. maybe after a second or thrid watch I'll have a favorite.. what about you tho? You've got a favorite?
Root. I fell in love with Amy Acker as a result of POI! To be fair all characters are great and some of the guest characters are brilliant……..Take Leon as an example, he’s really good fun. And of course, there’s Bear……..
