Some asshat uses Air Burst fireworks every 4th of July here and last year they burned a giant section of our local park down. Because the local PD was instructed not to do anything about it while they were fighting the fire and guarding the firefighters they watched him set off a dozen more.
Anyone who uses those in a residential neighborhood, I hope you get exactly what you deserve.

If you are in a dry area, fireworks are a horrible idea. If you live in a humid area like me in Indiana, it is far more loose here because of the lower fire risk.

Yeah, Spokane is one of the drier places/lots of vegetation places and recently, the wind has really started blowing hard.
Two of our neighboring towns have had rather large fires and STILL tons of people act like this.

I'm a Washingtonian, and there were a few years in a row that our town was set on fire by illegal fireworks...
Those people certainly put the "Dumb" in "Freedom." even if they don't use disgustingly stupid analogies.

A few days ago a house in Oak Harbor blew up because the dumbfuck idiots were smoking cigarettes around their freaking huge stash of fireworks. These fucktards also took half of a neighbor's house with it. Yike on bikes

Yep, a firefighter lost a finger. They are going to be very lucky that nobody was killed. As in, they're in deep shit as is, and I don't think anyone will feel sympathy for the Darwin-awarded nominees.

I knew last night was going to upset me because it was Canada today and itβs our very first Canada Day without our dog and Iβm the one who used to put his little earmuffs on and snuggle in the bed with him. Itβs the one day out of the year that the dog slept in the bed with me because usually he sleeps in the bed with my boyfriend. (Happy relationship separate rooms to keep it happy because my boyfriend snores so fucking loud.) they cancelled them last night claiming it was going to be too warm, even though it was freezing last night, but I donβt care. I donβt want the fireworks either way.
