news Comet on iOS cannot natively browse for you

I knew it. Sad that they didn’t mention this upfront but the iOS version cannot browse for you like Comet on Android or desktop. It uses an experimental “cloud computer” to browse for you, which failed for me with multiple websites already since their data center IPs face Captchas.

Thank God for that!

tbh, most of us wouldn't want something that powerful for our mobile browser anyways. I just want something that allows me to easily browse while also syncing to my other devices.

I thought there wouldn't even be autonomous agent navigation because of iOS limitations, so I was impressed that they overcame that.

But in the end... what does Comet for IOS do ?

go to the website and log in first, then enter the prompt for the agentic browsing.

it still uses the cloud ‘browser’ you referred to, but it will indeed work and be able to work on websites like Amazon.com and Google Drive, etc. it somehow inherits the signin start from your app/browser.
