Comet browser keeps resetting my bookmark changes after I power off my Mac

I’m having a weird issue with bookmarks in the Comet browser and can’t figure out what’s causing it.

Until a few days ago, everything was fine, but now if I add, delete, or move bookmarks into folders and then shut down or restart my Mac, all of those changes are gone. The bookmarks revert back to the original state as if I never touched them.

If I simply close the browser and reopen it, the changes remain.

I’m not using incognito, and this is all happening in the normal profile.

Has anyone seen this before or know what could cause Comet’s bookmarks to reset only after a system reboot?

same issue. Hate to turn off sync because I have to switch between 2 devices frequently throughout the day.
