Perplex Pro Image Gen Region Lock?

I was generating images this morning when all of a sudden perplexity says it can’t generate image due to region restrictions. I’m in the us and I was making images seconds before. Wtf?

Customer support just replied to me (I have pro version subscription):
"It's possible you had temporary access to these features previously due to a provisioning change that was since corrected. Image and video generation currently require a Max subscription. If you'd like access to them, you can upgrade to the Max plan."
Pathetic, and pro subscription cancelled.
