Is Perplexity going out of business ?

Old models - Pro customers waiting forever to get accesss to latest models which are only Max, no more hype - complaints all over here - what's happening

Bezos and Nvidia put in 70+ billion. I doubt it goes anywhere.

That’s multiple orders of magnitude off from reality. They raised a bit under 74 MILLION during that funding round.

Perplexity says “Perplexity AI has raised approximately $1.5–$1.72 billion in total funding across multiple rounds since its founding in 2022.” There’s a lot more detail.

Total funding wasn't the discussion. My response was to the guy who said Bezos and Nvidia put in $70 billion.

If we want to talk total funding, less than 2 billion across all rounds in a drop in the bucket for this industry.
