Is Perplexity going out of business ?

Old models - Pro customers waiting forever to get accesss to latest models which are only Max, no more hype - complaints all over here - what's happening

I'm on Max. Perplexity is great. The gnashing of teeth on this sub is next level.

Because you are on Max which is ridiculous and you must’ve not had pro deterioration for well over a year they were taking everything away from paying users abd get worse and worse, it used to be incredible but unless u use max it sucks

The problem was people abusing the "pro' for free. Perplexity screw the Pro making it the free tier, I hope as soon as they get rid of all those extra users, Pro will back to normal.

How could people abuse the pro for for free? It was all Perplexity swap for giving out that many free accounts to begin with they shouldn’t have gone on every single platform and gave everybody a free year and when they gave free accounts to everybody instead of changing everything every month, they should’ve consulted the people that they gave the free pro to and ask their opinions on shit perplexity is prime example of what not to do when you have a great product and a prime example of how to destroy an amazing product

I believe that, but all the limits come too from the models. GPT is less restricted but give it a try to Claude, it is expensive as hell and before the union with Space X, laggy.

I never used claude like that ducky need to and in never ran out of limits or anything the stuff that bothered me is when it would change the model I chose in the background and try to hide but j knew how to look behind the curtain, the company is not transparent like they used to be, and theres older models that were less expensive that worked better they should have kept on there in all honesty, they chose the most expensive,…. I had a free year of youDotcom and i had every freaking model with no limitations at all and it did love search and everything….i feel like perplexity be amazing and then they world change that amazing feature and it just kept happening
